Water Filter Cleaning & Maintenance
Whenever the time comes, normally every 3-5 years , its a good idea to sanitize your water filter housings...
We recommend using only non toxic sanitizers like Milton thats used for cleaning babies bottles.
Using detergents is an issue as the detergents will leach into the housing.
Make sure you remove all filter cartridges before cleaning your water filter and as the last process, flush some Milton though the entire unit while its empty and out the spout so the bio-film within the hose and faucet is sanitized .
