The ultra slim water purifiers come with a separate ceramic stand and holds approximately 10 litres. The inverted bell housing the filter at the top of the purifier holds about 3 litres so that at any given time about 7 litres can be accessed from the tap at the bottom. The ultra chic purifier is approximately 220mm wide and 510mm high including the stand.

Water is filtered in three ways. Initially the water must pass through a micro porous ceramic material which filters out sediment, suspended solids and amoeba down to one micron.

Next the water passes through the inside of the filter containing a granular activated carbon core filtering out unwanted impurities such as chlorine, metals and pesticides. Finally the water passes through the internal walls of the filter which have been coated with an antibacterial treatment of silver nitrate which acts as a natural biocide preventing bacteria from breeding and eradicating Giardia and Cryptosporidium.

Fluoride Plus filter elements, manufactured in England and imported by Southern Cross Pottery, utilize a class leading silver impregnated ceramic micro porous outer shell combined with state of the art granular core technology which removes fluoride plus virtually all other contaminants.

Fluoride Plus is made from the highest quality NSF component certified (ANSI 61) coconut shell based activated carbon and other proprietary adsorbent materials.
The ceramic shell and the granular carbon combines mechanical filtration and physical absorption processes to reduce a wide variety of drinking water contaminants of both aesthetic and health concerns.

The pore structure of the ceramic enables sufficient contact time for the filter to be ideally suited to improving taste and odour as well as reducing chlorine, chloramine, volatile organic compounds, MTBE, lead, mercury, asbestos, arsenic and fluoride.
