Return & Refund Policy

At Water Filter World Australia, we want you to love what you buy. If for any reason you're not completely satisfied, we're here to help.1. Australian Consumer Law – Your Statutory RightsNothing in this policy affects your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
Under the ACL, you are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund for products that are:
  • faulty
  • not of acceptable quality
  • not fit for purpose
  • significantly different from the description or sample
These rights are in addition to, and override, anything stated in this policy.

2. Change of Mind Returns (30 Days)We happily accept returns for most items within 30 days of delivery for a change of mind, provided the item meets all the following conditions:
  • Item is in its original, unused condition
  • Item has all original tags/labels/packaging attached
  • Item is in a resalable condition (no signs of wear, use, damage, odour, or missing parts)
  • You provide proof of purchase (order number or receipt)
Non-returnable items (change of mind) The following items cannot be returned or refunded for change of mind reasons:
  • Sale/clearance items (unless faulty)
  • Personalised, custom-made, or made-to-order products
  • Hygiene & intimate products (e.g. underwear, swimwear, earrings, cosmetics, piercings)
  • Digital downloads, gift cards, e-vouchers
  • Perishable goods
  • Final sale items clearly marked as such
3. Return Process
  1. Contact us within 30 days of delivery atwaterfilterworldaustralia@hotmail.comor through our contact form.
  2. Let us know your order number and reason for return.
  3. We’ll provide you with a Return Authorisation (RA) number and return instructions/address.
  4. Package the item securely (we recommend using tracked shipping).
  5. Send the item back to us (please keep your tracking number).
Return shipping costs
  • Change of mind returns: Customer pays return postage
  • Faulty/wrong/incorrect items: We cover return postage (provide tracking & we’ll reimburse or send a prepaid label)
4. Refunds & ExchangesOnce we receive and inspect your return (usually within 5–7 business days):
  • Change of mind → Refund of the purchase price (excluding original shipping fees)
  • Faulty / not as described → Full refund or replacement or repair (your choice, per ACL)
  • Refund issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days (please allow extra time for your bank/credit card provider)
Store credit option
We’re happy to issue store credit instead of a refund if you prefer — just let us know!
Partial refunds
In some cases (light wear, missing packaging, etc.) we may offer a partial refund. We’ll discuss this with you first.
